Extremal Element operates where application lifecycle management, platform engineering, DevOps, NIS2-oriented remediation and operations meet. Our focus is not legacy IT and not classic sysadmin work. Adobe AEM Website Operations and Development

Challenge

We took over the operations and development of Adobe AEM based portals while keeping the business operation and user experience uninterrupted during transition.

Solution

We handled the transition in a structured model, learned the existing environment fast, took over daily support and change handling, and coordinated controlled releases with business and technical stakeholders.

Result

The portals moved into a stable long-term operating model with controlled change delivery, reliable support and continuous business-side evolution.

Azure DevOps On-Prem and NIS2 Baseline

Challenge

A new on-prem Azure DevOps environment had to be designed, introduced and migrated from TFS, while serving around 400 users and aligning the platform with NIS2-driven security and access expectations.

Solution

We contributed as architecture and delivery partner, designed the target platform, created a structured migration approach, built RBAC and auditability baselines, and aligned multiple development, testing, operations and security stakeholders.

Result

The result is a scalable, auditable and security-ready DevOps platform foundation that supports controlled engineering and quality processes in a long-term enterprise setup.

Application Operations Transition and 7x24 Support

Challenge

Within the AH RUN program, nearly 60 applications had to be transitioned into L2 operations while maintaining continuous support under high enterprise expectations.

Solution

We completed the transition, then delivered continuous 7x24 application operations with L2 and L3 support, adapting to operational requirements while protecting service stability.

Result

We proved that large application portfolios can be transitioned rapidly and then operated reliably over the long term with stable L2 and L3 support.

Zalaviz, MAV Energia

Utility Metering Data Collection Platforms

Challenge

We had to take over and further develop a complex NB-IoT based metering platform handling more than 10,000 daily water-meter readings, then extend the model into a new multi-utility platform for water, gas and electricity data collection.

Solution

We took over the system both operationally and development-wise, ensured 7x24 execution, added new business capabilities, and designed a new-generation architecture for broader energy-meter data processing and SAP-oriented integrations.

Result

The outcome was a stable, source-code-level takeover for Zalaviz and a scalable new product foundation for MAV that supports long-term growth and expansion.

DigitalOcean-Based Web Platform Operations

Challenge

A complex existing web platform had to be taken over for operations and further development in DigitalOcean, while maintaining high reliability and responding quickly to ongoing change requests.

Solution

We assumed full operational and development responsibility, implemented incoming requests rapidly and kept the environment stable throughout ongoing business-driven changes.

Result

The platform achieved strong availability and reliability while continuing to evolve with new functions aligned to client priorities.

SonyOne Streaming Platform on AWS

Challenge

A greenfield streaming platform for the African market had to be operated with high availability and uninterrupted service delivery across multiple countries and time zones.

Solution

We built the full AWS-based infrastructure, operated the complete application and platform stack, introduced CI/CD processes and provided 7x24x365 operational coverage with international team coordination.

Result

The result was a stable, scalable streaming platform with reliable service delivery and effective collaboration across teams in the UK, USA, Kenya and Nigeria.

Graphisoft

Virtual Event Platform for 100,000+ Users

Challenge

Graphisoft’s annual international event had to be moved fully online with a web-based experience capable of serving 100,000+ globally connected users in a short delivery window.

Solution

We designed and delivered a new AWS-based microservice platform and custom CMS with 30+ CI/CD pipelines, live interactions, WebRTC networking, real-time messaging, multilingual content management and external integrations.

Result

The event was delivered successfully as a fully digital experience with high availability, scalability and rich interactive capabilities for global participants.

Public Sector, Micro Focus

Central IDM Platform for 50,000 Users

Challenge

We supported the rollout of a central Micro Focus IDM platform that had to govern access for 50,000 users across more than 700 systems through controlled approval-based workflows.

Solution

Working with the vendor’s local team, we handled system understanding, integrations, custom connectors, process modeling and detailed testing to make the framework fit a highly complex public-sector environment.

Result

A reliable and transparent central IDM system was introduced, making access governance safer and more manageable across tens of thousands of users and hundreds of systems.

Insurance Portal Development and Maintenance

Challenge

An already operating insurance portal required continuous development and maintenance, where fast implementation of new requests had to be balanced with stable day-to-day operation.

Solution

We worked in close cooperation with the client’s development team for more than four years, handling bug fixes, change requests and new functions in the existing insurance portal.
